Best eaten with a cup of hot tea. Yummy!

Happy Belated Birthday Fadlun, Zamey & Akmal!

This 6x6 cupcake set was ordered by Kak Eton for her office's potluck event. This is the first time I tried this font- 'Monosive Corsiva' for the wordings (after receiving feedbacks from my family). I think, it looks better than my previous writings-on-cakes, but I definitely need to improve on my handwriting!

Looks like I have to go back to school and practise more on my handwriting!!

Thanks a lot Kak Eton. Hope En. Fadlun, Zamey, Akmal and the rest of your office-mates like my cupcakes!

Nana's Engagement Ceremony

Phew! At last it's over. Months of planning by Kak Sal and family for Nana's engagement ceremony was successfully executed yesterday. We are very happy for Nana and her fiance.

This is the cupcakes that I humbly contributed for the 'return hantaran', inspired by the English Bouquet from Mama Lea. For this, I baked butter cheesecake, decorated with buttercream icing.

This is the cupcakes inside the casing after decorated by Nana and me at her house, the night before the ceremony...

Another picture of the set of cupcakes beside the 'mini pelamin'.

Last but not least, these are the same batch of cupcakes, only decorated differently (with strawberry filling), for the guests.

Congratulations Nana and Adlan. May Allah bless you both, and please take good care of yourselves....

Buttercheese cake again

I had some leftover cream cheese in my fridge. So, I baked buttercheese cake again but with some variation. I included the crust (such as the one as for REAL cheesecake) and poured strawberry filling on it, also like we do for REAL cheesecake. Brought it to my MIL's during the weekly visit. Everybody loves it!

Syahirah's Birthday and Thanksgiving kenduri

This is the undecorated cupcakes. This time I'm trying butter cheese cake. Not so sweet.
Seems that this flavour is quite a favourite among my family.

Happy Belated Birthday Shira/ Shahirah!
Congratulations to Aqlie for being accepted to Sekolah Alam Shah, Putrajaya.
Both are cousins and they are two of my numerous nieces and nephews.

This time I'm trying to do other designs apart from the 'flower & girlish' designs...

The cake and cupcakes at the occasion, my MIL's house. The chocolate moist cake is by Secret Recipe, the cupcakes are from yours truly...

This is the birthday girl cutting the cake. You go, girl!

My first project

This is it!

After months of contemplating, at last, on this second day of Muharam 1430H, as my new year resolution, I start my new blog on my culinary experience, my new hobby. I found that creative projects, such as cake decorations, give me a lot of satisfaction.

Let's see some of my attempts on cake decorations....

This is the raya cake I brought to my in-laws' during the recent Hari Raya. Butter cheese cake with cream cheese frosting. The writings were done using chocolate ganache.

Chocolate moist cake with chocolate ganache frosting. I used buttercream icing for the writings. This cake was brought for house warming kenduri at my brother-in-law's new house.

(Needs more practise with my handwriting...:))

This cake is brought to the 2-in-1 celebration at my brother's house; Raya Open House and my nephews' birthday. The ganache needed to be improved. Too runny!
This is my 'testing' cake b4 I made the ...err...'real' thing!
